These guidelines help maintain a useful, respectful community where foodservice entrepreneurs can learn from each other. By using Postlap, you agree to follow these standards.
Postlap is a knowledge community for foodservice entrepreneurs. Every contribution — whether a post, comment, question, or resource — should help someone start, operate, or grow a stronger food business. If it doesn't serve foodservice operators, it doesn't belong here.
Share actionable steps, real experiences, clear calculations, and practical resources. Avoid generic motivation, unrelated technology news, or content that doesn't connect to running a food business. Every post should answer: "How will this help a foodservice entrepreneur make a better decision?"
Disclose commercial relationships, sponsorships, and affiliate links. Label regional advice with the relevant jurisdiction. Don't fabricate stories, expertise, statistics, or case studies. If you made a mistake, correct it openly. Trust is the foundation of this community.
Critique ideas, not people. Disagreement is healthy — personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, and bullying are not. Respect different perspectives, experience levels, and business sizes. A first-time founder and a 20-year veteran both belong here.
Don't use Postlap as a marketing channel. Repetitive posts, automated content, link-dropping, and disguised promotions will be removed. Genuine contributions that happen to mention your business are fine — spamming is not.
Don't publish invented operator stories, fake case studies, fabricated statistics, or AI-generated content without human review and verification. Real experiences — including failures and lessons — are far more valuable than polished fiction.
Don't share confidential business information, employee details, customer data, or any private information without explicit permission. Respect the privacy of operators, staff, and customers mentioned in your content.
Don't artificially inflate likes, follows, comments, or reviews. Don't use multiple accounts, buy engagement, or coordinate inauthentic activity. Growth should come from genuine value, not tricks.
If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the report function. Reports are reviewed by moderators. Don't engage in public confrontations — let the moderation team handle violations. False reports are also a violation.
Violations are handled through an escalation ladder: content correction, formal warning, content removal, temporary restriction, account suspension, or permanent ban. Severe violations (fraud, threats, impersonation) may result in immediate action without prior warnings.
As the community grows, these guidelines will be updated. Major changes will be announced. Current guidelines are always available at this page. By using Postlap, you agree to follow the current version of these guidelines.
